Contractors interested in bidding on the Historic Captain Fletcher’s (Navarro) Inn Stabilization Project will find relevant information needed to complete Bids on this page of the NSCR website. The Stabilization Project is funded in large part by a grant from the California Cultural and Historical Endowment (CCHE) from their Round 4 funding cycle. To receive updates and responses to “Questions on Bid Documents”, all interested contractors must indicate that they are interested in bidding by sending an email to the Project Manager, Jim Martin, at . This will allow for confirmation on the mandatory site visit(s), noticing of any revisions to the Bid Documents, and other matters.

A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012. Contractors are to meet at the Navarro Inn, 500 Navarro Beach Road. Interested bidders must send an email indicating their intention to attend the pre-bid meeting to by 5p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Site visit will take approximately 3 hours and will be an opportunity for contractor to make a detailed inspection of building prior to bidding. Attendance is mandatory. Prime contractor or one of his/her permanent employees must attend the pre-bid site visit. Navarro Inn will be open for detailed inspection, but contractor must bring own equipment and must sign waiver of liability before entering the building.

Bids must be addressed to “NSCR, P.O. Box 1710, Mendocino, CA 95460” postmarked no later than Friday, June 29, 2012. Bids will be opened and read before representatives of the NSCR Board at a location and time to be determined and announced for all interested bidders in performing the work.
